Touch monitor like Dell P2418HT has two kinds of signal to transmite, one is the siganl of touch which is transmitted via USB 2.0, another is the content signal like video/audio which is transmitted via USB 3.0. so it requires the USB 3.0/2.0/1.1 over Fiber extender to transmite to the remote location, it is backwards compatible. for more, please check BY-USB-126DF
